Alexander WestbrookFounder

Alexander Westbrook is the founder of Westbrook RDC LLC. His work focuses on surface engineering, corrosion control, electrochemistry, and the development of practical chemical processes for aerospace manufacturing and repair.

Before founding Westbrook RDC, Westbrook supported advanced surface-treatment research and development at NAWCAD/NAVAIR. He is a named inventor on U.S. Patent 11,155,928, “Electrolytic Process for Deposition of Chemical Conversion Coatings,” work that received NAWCAD Patent of the Year recognition.

Through Westbrook RDC, he leads government-funded and independent research involving selective stripping, conversion coatings, localized electrochemical processing, and new inspection methods. He also brings practical experience supporting the transition of electrolytic conversion-coating technology into aerospace production and repair environments.

Who we are and how to contact us

Westbrook RDC LLC, based in Waldorf, Maryland, United States, is responsible for the personal information it collects through this website. To ask a privacy question or exercise your rights, use our contact form and begin your message with “Privacy request.” Analytics consent is not required to contact us.

Information we collect and why

When you contact us, we receive the name, email address, organization (if provided), and message you submit, along with subsequent correspondence. We use these records to respond, assess potential work, manage business relationships, and maintain relevant project and contractual records. Required fields allow us to identify and answer your inquiry; you can browse without submitting a form.

Our hosting and form providers may process IP addresses, browser details, request logs, and related technical information to deliver the website, secure their services, and prevent spam. The form also loads a JavaScript resource from the UNPKG content-delivery service, which receives the technical information needed to serve that request.

Where European or UK data-protection law applies, we rely on consent for optional analytics; our legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries, maintaining relevant correspondence, and securing our services; steps taken at your request before entering a contract or performing a contract with you, where applicable; and legal obligations for required records. We do not use this website to make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Withdrawal stops future analytics collection and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies from this site; it does not itself delete previously collected data or affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Our Google Analytics user and event data retention setting is 14 months for year-over-year analysis. Reset on new activity is disabled. Standard aggregated reports are outside this retention setting and may remain available longer. See Google’s explanation of its processing and Analytics retention settings.

Inquiry retention

Our policy is to review inquiries that have not led to an ongoing relationship or project after two years from the last substantive contact, and delete personal information no longer needed. For customer, project, technical, and contractual correspondence, we retain relevant information while needed for the relationship, project history, applicable recordkeeping obligations, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. We periodically review those records and delete or anonymize personal information when the reason for keeping it ends. A legal preservation requirement may delay deletion.

This policy covers copies held by Westbrook RDC, including email correspondence. Formspree’s submission history is separate and subject to our subscription and its service policies; it may be available for a shorter period. Its storage limits do not automatically delete copies already delivered to our inbox.

Service providers and international processing

Formspree processes form submissions and forwards them to us; our email provider, Microsoft 365, handles delivered correspondence. OpenAI Sites and its infrastructure providers deliver this website. Google processes analytics information if you accept analytics. These providers process information to deliver their respective services and may also process service and security information under their own terms.

Westbrook RDC processes inquiries in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Data-protection laws may differ from those where you live. Formspree states that it hosts its services in the United States and relies on Standard Contractual Clauses as a processor. See its privacy policy and security and transfer information. Your privacy rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal information; restrict or object to processing; and withdraw consent.
